Job Description:
Project Manager - Buildings
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Parsons is currently hiring an experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering innovative, practical solutions that contribute to the improvement of our communities. In this role, you will be responsible for scope development, scope management, and the commercial performance of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with contractual and client objectives. You will define program goals, develop strategies to achieve them, and gain a deep understanding of client expectations, contract terms, and company policies.
What You’ll Be Doing
Client & Stakeholder Management : Acts as the primary point of contact with clients and subcontractors; negotiates scope changes, secures additional work, and may represent the client in regulatory or public meetings.
Project Planning & Execution: Oversees the development and implementation of project plans including the Project Execution Plan, Health & Safety Plan, and Quality Assurance/Control Plan. Ensures alignment with program requirements and monitors deliverables for compliance.
Team Leadership & Resource Coordination: Assigns project tasks based on team strengths, contributes to performance reviews, and mobilizes internal resources to build capable, effective project teams.
Financial & Operational Oversight: Develops and manages budgets, schedules, and project strategies. Tracks progress against goals and addresses issues such as cost overruns, delays, or scope changes through timely action plans and change orders.
Quality Assurance & Reporting: Promotes technical and commercial excellence, monitors milestones, and reports on project performance. Leads weekly status meetings to align on deliverables and next steps.
Additional Duties: Performs other relevant responsibilities as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Engineering related technical/business field
15+ years of related Project management experience is required, with 5+ years of experience on a educational Facilities & Residential projects
Incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background.
Professional registration may also be required.
Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients and enjoy being hands on technically in the project.
Our Project Managers still get very involved in the designs on the project.
Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards
Incumbent must meet Parsons' project management certification requirements.
Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications
