Job Description:
We are hiring a Purchase Assistant to join our procurement team supporting construction project operations. The role involves supplier coordination, material sourcing, purchase tracking, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with project timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in supplier sourcing and evaluation
- Issue and track purchase orders
- Monitor deliveries and quality upon receipt
- Keep accurate purchase and vendor records
- Liaise with engineering, warehouse, and accounts teams
- Assist in negotiation and vendor communication
- Forecast procurement needs and monitor inventory
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies
- Prepare timely procurement reports
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s in Business/Supply Chain
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Tally)
- Strong communication & coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
