We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing project costs and ensuring that construction projects are completed within budget and to quality standards. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile developments in a vibrant and fast-growing market. Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects. - Manage tender processes and evaluate subcontractor quotations. - Monitor and control project costs to ensure compliance with the budget. - Conduct regular cost analysis and report on financial performance to stakeholders. - Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to optimize costs. - Prepare payment certificates and manage variation orders. - Ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements. - Maintain accurate documentation and cost records throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field. - Proven 5 experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably in the UAE or Gulf region. - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost control techniques. - Familiarity with relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and specialized quantity surveying software. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment. - Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of local construction laws and regulations is an advantage. - Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
