Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of contractual and financial side of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and ensuring cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project plans to prepare tender and contract documents.
- Track project progress and ensure value for money is achieved.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and claims.
- Prepare interim payment applications and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs and cash flow forecasts.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and clients on financial matters.
- Manage change orders and cost variations effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts (FIDIC, JCT, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Project, and cost management software.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
