About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Resident Engineer to join Engineering in Zabeel House the Greens by Jumeirah. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of all Engineering Department supervisors and subordinates.
- Observe activities to ensure adherence to policies and operating procedures.
- Check on completed repair and maintenance works to ensure that established standards have been met.
- Assist in the implementation, co-ordination and monitoring of the Company Engineering Management System. This will include the Fire, Life and Safety Matrix, PPM and Work Order Systems.
- Handle grievances, suggestions and complaints by colleagues and recommends appropriate action.
- Submit a comprehensive monthly report to General Manager on activities carried out for the month (if required).
- Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering Department policies, processes and procedures.
- Perform other duties that management may from time to time reasonably require.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Experienced in Fire & Life safety systems
- Experience in fundamentals of HVAC control
- Experience in Green Building approach
- Have BMS application knowledge
- Have financial planning, accounting and project management skills
