Role Overview
The Sales & Business Development Manager will spearhead RSL’s revenue growth by driving new business opportunities, securing high-value contracts, and strengthening client relationships. This role demands strong commercial acumen, market insight, and the ability to execute results-driven strategies in a competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Growth
- Identify, target, and onboard new corporate clients across hospitality, travel, logistics, and aviation sectors.
- Design tailored transportation solutions aligned with client needs and market trends.
- Achieve ambitious revenue and market share targets through proactive sales strategies.
- Manage the complete sales cycle — from lead generation to contract closure.
Contract & Compliance
- Draft, review, and oversee commercial agreements to ensure profitability and compliance.
- Ensure strict adherence to UAE laws, RTA regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with legal and finance to mitigate risk and safeguard business interests.
Client & Partner Management
- Build long-term, trusted partnerships with senior executives and procurement teams.
- Act as the escalation point for key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Identify and maximize upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Manage vendor and service partner relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and monitor performance.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and guide junior sales staff to build a high-performing commercial team.
- Work closely with operations, marketing, and finance to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Lead expansion initiatives including new services, products, and market entries.
Reporting & Market Insights
- Develop accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business intelligence dashboards.
- Use client feedback and market trends to refine strategies and improve offerings.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 6–10 years of proven B2B sales and business development experience in the UAE.
- Background in transportation, hospitality, or logistics industries preferred.
- Strong understanding of UAE commercial contract practices and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, Odoo) and MS Office Suite.
- Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an added advantage.
