We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our fast-growing tech startup. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and innovation, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. As a Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships, meeting restaurants and with prospective clients, and contributing to the overall sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through networking, cold calling to concierge, and meeting in person.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations and demos to prospective clients, showcasing the value of our products/services and how they can solve the needs.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurants by understanding their needs, offering tailored solutions, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline by accurately tracking and reporting on sales activity, prospects, and opportunities in the CRM system.
- Onboarding & Closing: Onboarding restaurant and close deals, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and potential market shifts to identify new sales opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless experience for concierges from onboarding through reservations.
- Feedback & Improvement: Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams on customer needs and areas for improvement, helping to shape the future of our offerings.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales metrics, customer feedback, and overall progress towards goals for the Sales Manager and executive team.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a sales role, preferably within a tech startup, SaaS, or software sales environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field (preferred, but not required based on experience).
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales productivity tools.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of technology products and the ability to quickly learn new tools and solutions.
