Job Title: Sales Manager – Logistics

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead and drive our sales initiatives within the logistics and freight forwarding industry in Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new business, building long-term client relationships, and achieving revenue targets through strategic sales planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the logistics and freight forwarding sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Oman and the GCC region across verticals like retail, manufacturing, oil & gas, automotive, and FMCG.
- Manage and grow a strong pipeline of clients through cold calling, networking, client meetings, and market research.
- Maintain relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare sales forecasts, monthly performance reports, and business development plans.
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements with clients while ensuring profitability.
- Work closely with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth delivery of services.
- Keep updated with market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes in the logistics sector.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings when required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 5–8 years of experience in sales/business development in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain solutions.
- Strong knowledge of local and GCC logistics market (road freight, air/sea freight, warehousing, 3PL).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid driving license in Oman or GCC is preferred.
- Arabic language skills will be an advantage but not mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to AED20,000.00 per month
