We're looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong experience in construction/contracting accounting and a solid understanding of UAE tax laws. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and contributing to strategic financial decisions. Prior experience working with multiple companies/entities and proficiency in modern accounting software like Zoho, Odoo, or similar platforms is essential.

- Working days-Mon-Sat (6 days working)
- Working hours: 8 am - 6 pm
- Salary Range: AED 8000-10000
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle full-cycle accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliations, and monthly/yearly closings.
- Prepare and review financial reports, project cost reports, and budget forecasts.
- Ensure timely and accurate VAT and Corporate Tax submissions in compliance with UAE regulations.
- Monitor construction project costs, contracts, billing schedules, and cash flow management.
- Maintain inter-company transactions and consolidations across multiple entities.
- Lead and manage a small accounting team, ensuring high standards of performance and accuracy.
- Work closely with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 5-6 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or contracting industry.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are a plus).
- Up-to-date knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax laws, and compliance standards.
- Experience working with multiple companies/entities.
- Proficient in accounting software such as Zoho, Odoo, QuickBooks, or similar cloud-based platforms.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proactive, smart, and a quick learner capable of leading the team and streamlining processes.
