- Project Supervision: Overseeing daily site activities, including managing labor, subcontractors, and materials.
- Quality Control: Ensuring work meets design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Resource Management: Planning and managing materials, equipment, and resources for the project.
- Time Management: Monitoring project progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing solutions.
- Client Liaison: Communicating with clients regarding project progress, variations, and any issues.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinating and managing subcontractors, including reviewing invoices and ensuring compliance.
- Safety Management: Ensuring a safe working environment and implementing safety procedures.
- Document Control: Maintaining accurate records of project progress, materials, and other relevant documentation.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the fit-out and joinery process.
- Cost Control: Monitoring project expenses and ensuring they stay within budget.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of interior fit-out and joinery processes, including materials, techniques, and finishes.
- Experience in managing teams and subcontractors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the UAE fit-out and joinery market is often preferred.
