About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Executive to lead and grow our online presence across the Middle East market. This role involves developing strategies, managing daily operations, creating engaging content, and driving data-driven results to strengthen brand visibility and user engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Define platform positioning, content direction, and operational goals specific to the Middle East market.
2. Social Media Operations
- Oversee daily operations of official social media accounts for vivo Middle East.
- Drive growth in key performance areas including followers, engagement, and reach.
3. Content Creation & Management
- Plan, design, and produce engaging multimedia content (graphics, videos, posts) that resonates with local market trends and user preferences.
- Ensure content is aligned with brand tone and marketing objectives.
4. Community & User Engagement
- Respond promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries across platforms.
- Foster positive interactions and build strong online communities to enhance brand loyalty.
5. Data Analysis & Optimization
- Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics such as engagement rate, reach, and conversions.
- Use insights to continuously optimize strategies and content for better results.
6. Mass Marketing Support
- Create content templates and tools to support internal teams and partners in producing brand-aligned content.
- Contribute to larger marketing campaigns and initiatives across the region.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the technology or consumer electronics sector.
- Strong knowledge of major social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent copywriting skills and ability to create compelling, creative content independently.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools with a strong data-driven mindset.
- Highly motivated, responsible, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with the Middle East social media landscape and user behavior is an advantage.
