Key Accountabilities
- Support Digital Services and Customer Experience with their Brand and Communications requirements by providing effective content across all Human (customer care, telesales, etc.), Physical (stores, etc.), Sensory (sounds like IVR recordings, scents such as outlet fragrance, and sights) touchpoints and ensure all reflects the right messages that are also compliant with brand guidelines.
- Ensure consistent, targeted, up-to-date, accurate, and impactful messages based on market research, best practices, and geo-marketing insights to personalize communication and maximize relevance and effectiveness.
- Coordinate with external agencies and vendors as needed for design, copywriting, and other marketing communication services.
- Monitor customer feedback and sentiment through various channels and dive into the end-to-end customer journey maps (Consumer and Enterprise) and leverage insights to optimize communication strategies.
- Drive efficiency through effective budget management for owned projects and responsibilities.
- Drive efficiency through effective retail/IVR deflection comms to the app.
- Build and maintain solid partnerships with assigned internal clients to better develop, manage, and fulfill communications designed to meet business goals.
- Manage agencies to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct and attend regular meetings with the assigned internal clients, other MarComms support functions, as well as the external agencies and vendors followed by clear minutes of meeting with a solid action plan and timelines.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in Marketing Communications, events, PR, Sales or Business Development.
- Minimum 1-year experience in a vendor(s) management role.
- Prior experience in integrated communication, customer experience, content writing, or touchpoints management is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive messaging.
- Very good people skills (necessary in a fast-moving, quick-deadline environment).
- Flexible, proactive, detail-oriented, self-confident, and reliable; can work well in cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent analytical, planning, problem solving, project management, negotiation, risk management, and presentation skills
- Thorough understanding of the UAE market and targeted segments’ media habits; experience with qualitative and quantitative market research is a plus.
