Job Summary:
Responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operations of the farm, ensuring optimal productivity, sustainability, and cost-efficiency. This role involves planning, supervising, and controlling agricultural activities to meet production targets, quality standards, and the strategic goals of SOBH Group.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in farm management or similar agricultural roles.
- Strong knowledge of crop production, soil health, and irrigation systems.
- Familiarity with modern agricultural techniques and farm management software.
- Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, and labor effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee all farm operations to ensure productivity and sustainability.
- Manage crop lifecycle, including planting, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting.
- Monitor soil health and implement improvement strategies.
- Manage procurement, inventory, and efficient use of resources.
- Supervise farm workers, assign tasks, and ensure safety protocols.
- Provide regular updates to the Board of Directors and Heirs on project status and approvals.
- Prepare reports on yields, costs, and resource usage.
- Manage budgets, control expenses, and analyze profitability.
- Oversee maintenance of machinery, irrigation systems, and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and environmental standards.
