Job Title: Store Controller (Restaurant Industry – UAE Experienced)

Reports To: Central Kitchen Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Store Controller with a strong background in the restaurant industry and UAE-based operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise in inventory control, receiving procedures, stock reconciliation, and usage monitoring—preferably using Omega or similar inventory software. This role is crucial in supporting the kitchen and operations team through proper stock management and avoiding inventory losses or overstocking.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Stock Management
- Manage receiving, storage, and issuing of food, packaging, cleaning materials, and other restaurant supplies.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory checks.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder when necessary to ensure availability without overstocking.
- Track expiry dates, storage conditions, and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) method is consistently applied.
Purchasing Coordination
- Verify all incoming materials against purchase orders and quality standards.
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to resolve discrepancies or short deliveries.
- Assist in the preparation of purchase requests based on stock consumption reports.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit daily stock movement reports, wastage reports, and inventory variance analysis.
- Maintain accurate records in the inventory management system (Omega preferred).
- Participate in month-end and year-end inventory counts with finance or audit teams.
Cost Control & Loss Prevention
- Identify stock misuse, overconsumption, or pilferage and take corrective action.
- Work closely with kitchen supervisors to monitor actual vs. theoretical usage.
- Suggest improvements in stockroom layout and practices to minimize waste and increase efficiency.
Compliance & Hygiene
- Ensure the store complies with local health and safety standards.
- Monitor and ensure cleanliness, proper labeling, and food safety within the store area.
- Conduct random inspections and maintain proper documentation for audits.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in a similar Store Controller or Inventory Supervisor role in F&B / restaurant operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, restaurant supply chain, and cost management.
- Hands-on experience with Omega software or other F&B stock management systems.

Pay: AED4,000.00 per month
