Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and organized Store Keeper to manage the day-to-day operations of our stores and inventory for our steel fabrication facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing raw materials, tools, equipment, and spare parts, while ensuring accurate stock records are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, ensuring compliance with purchase orders and quality standards.
- Properly store materials and equipment in designated locations for easy retrieval.
- Issue materials to production as per approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels regularly.
- Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment of stock.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of steel materials, tools, and consumables.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the store area.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports.
- Follow company policies and procedures for inventory control.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Store Keeper in a steel fabrication or related industry.
- Good knowledge of steel materials, fabrication tools, and consumables.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and MS Office.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of safety standards in material handling.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,500.00 per month
