About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join our Front office Team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Ensure that all check-in details are accurately entered into the computer.
- Ensure that arriving guests arrive in accordance with Company Policy and Procedure.
- Ensure that rooms are sold at the best possible rate, thus maximizing hotel revenue. Maximum room occupancy and revenue is to be always achieved.
- Endeavour to maintain high standards of the hotel regarding the importance of VIPs.
- Ensure account instructions concerning discounts or special rates are always compiled with and recorded correctly on the appropriate worksheets.
- Ensure that all check-in messages are given to the guest on arrival.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up.
- Knowledge of Opera version 5 and/or Opera Cloud (Level of expertise – Basic)
- Excellent technical and communication skills, both in person and by telephone.
