The Technical Follow-up Officer ensures smooth coordination between the project team, consultants, and clients. The role involves continuous monitoring and follow-up of all technical submissions, ensuring approvals are obtained within project timelines, and supporting the site team with technical requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow up on shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and approvals.
- Monitor inspection requests and coordinate with QA/QC for site inspections.
- Track progress of technical documentation and prepare periodic status reports.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve pending technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract documents, and authority regulations.
- Maintain systematic records of submissions, approvals, and correspondence.
- Assist project managers/engineers in coordinating technical requirements across multiple projects.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Knowledge of construction standards and authority requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project documentation software.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
