Technical Manager – Architecture
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Technical Manager – Architecture to lead the technical execution of high-end architectural fit‑out projects. The ideal candidate will oversee architectural design development, technical documentation, coordination, and site execution, ensuring quality, safety, and design integrity throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all technical architectural aspects of fit‑out projects from concept through completion.
- Review and validate architectural design drawings, shop drawings, and architectural material submittals.
- Coordinate between architectural design, procurement, and site execution teams.
- Drive value engineering and design optimization aligned with architecture standards.
- Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, client specifications, and industry norms.
- Monitor project schedules and proactively resolve technical issues onsite.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- At least 15 years of experience in architectural fit‑out projects, including 10+ years in a managerial role.
- UAE experience (mandatory) working on high‑end architectural fit‑out or luxury fit‑out projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, with experience integrating it with Navisworks or AutoCAD for coordinated BIM workflows.
- Strong technical knowledge of architectural materials, finishes, methods, and detailing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and critical‑thinking skills.
