Job Summary:
We are seeking a Vinyl Applicator to join our team at Joseph General Maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying vinyl films, wraps, and graphics to various surfaces in accordance with company standards and client requirements. Attention to detail and precision are key for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for vinyl application, including cleaning, sanding, or priming as required.
- Accurately measure, cut, and apply vinyl films to the surfaces.
- Ensure proper alignment and smooth application, avoiding air bubbles, wrinkles, or imperfections.
- Trim, finish, and secure vinyl edges neatly.
- Perform quality checks to ensure the final finish meets company standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and safe condition.
- Follow safety guidelines during application and handling of materials.
- Assist in installation projects as required, supporting the teams.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in vinyl application, vehicle wraps, or signage installation is preferred but not mandatory.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with measuring tools, cutting instruments, and application squeegees.
- Understanding of different vinyl materials and their properties.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and meet project deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and handle vinyl rolls and tools.
- Comfortable working in varying environments, including outdoor and indoor installations.
