As a Waiter/Waitress in the Lobby Café, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests by ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, taking and serving orders efficiently, and maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards in the café area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally as they arrive.
- Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations when requested.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
- Serve orders promptly and check to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ensure tables are clean and properly set at all times.
- Process guest payments accurately using POS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of the café.
- Replenish stock items and ensure the café is well-presented at all times.
- Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service operations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in customer service preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, energetic, and guest-focused attitude.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage services.
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
