Responsibilities:
TTo lead the technical setup and operational readiness of the newly established Asset & Facilities Management Section, ensuring compliance with audit requirements, DGEP criteria, and Dubai Government asset management standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the development and implementation of asset management policies and procedures.
- Conduct full asset inventory verification, including tagging, documentation, and system
updates.
- Provide subject matter expertise to resolve audit findings and ensure full compliance.
- Prepare and deliver DGEP-required frameworks, sustainability documents, and reports.
- Develop HSE guidelines specific to asset/facility risks and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Support the selection, enhancement, or integration of asset management tools or platforms.
- Establish operational governance, including SOPs, ownership matrices, and workflow
maps.
- Coach and train staff, ensuring knowledge retention and long-term sustainability.
- Develop asset-related KPIs to support data-driven decision-making.
- Oversee store management operations, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, proper
asset storage, and timely updates to the asset management system.
Required Profile:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Facilities/Asset Management, or related
field (Master’s or certifications like ISO 55001, PMP, or CFM preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years in asset and facilities management, preferably
within government or large organizations in UAE.
- Knowledge:
Dubai Government compliance, audit practices, and DGEP frameworks
# Deliverable Description
1 Asset Management Policy Draft and implement asset and facilities management policies in line with Dubai Government standards.
2 Asset Verification Conduct a comprehensive review and physical verification of assets, validate asset tagging, and update asset registers.
3 Audit Closure Address and close open audit findings related to asset management, including documentation and system updates.
4 DGEP Readiness Develop and submit documentation and practices required for DGEP participation, showcasing operational maturity.
5Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Guidelines
Establish HSE protocols relevant to facilities and asset management, including dashboards and risk controls.
6 System Support Provide guidance on integration and enhancement of asset management systems or platforms (if applicable).
7 Governance Frameworks Develop SOPs, workflows, and ownership structures for asset lifecycle management.
8 Training & Knowledge Transfer
Deliver structured on-the-job training and mentoring to internal staff to build long-term asset management capabilities.
10Store Management Optimization
Assess and enhance existing store operations, including storage layout, item categorization, stock tracking, and compliance with inventory control procedures
