Job Title: Bid Manager
Job Summary:
Manage the end to end lifecycle of bids, coordinating with all support functions, for timely submission.
Key Accountabilities:
- Managing the bid to be delivered (OTOQOC)
- Leading and managing the bid team, ensuring inter-departmental and inter-disciplinary leadership
- Coordinating the offer/bid/proposal as well as the required bid preparation documents
- Analysing customer requests and capture plans to prepare the bid phase and the bid plan
- Manage the bid schedule, and coordinate the activities between the different functions (Sourcing, finance, PMO, contract, BD, etc.)
- Manage the bid process, reviews and approvals
- Liaise and work with different business units BD to anticipate upcoming RFPs and any necessary ground work
- Perform regular engagement sessions with the other business units and disciplines across a diverse subject material on the new and update information requirements for the bids
- Leading and co-ordination of the bid / campaign handover from the acquisition phase to the execution phase
- Preparing and providing a complete (considering commercial, economical, technical and service related aspects), competitive, binding offer corresponding to the needs of the customer and the company
Experience & Education Qualifications:
- 10 years of minimum experience in bid management or proposal management, ideally within a commercial/industrial sector.
- Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- 3 years of experience on managerial or equivalent positions.
- Bachelor degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, or Engineering.
- Preferable Master degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, or Engineering.

• Demonstrated Experience orchestrating complex International Tenders
• Solid understanding of Bid management processes and best practices
• Strong Understanding of the Aerospace & Defence industry, clients, products, services and processes
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Solid Understanding of pricing strategies and financial analysis in bid development
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
