Job Summary:
The Human Resources Officer is responsible for managing all HR-related activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance with labor laws. This role ensures the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Staffing
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Manage job postings, screen resumes, and conduct interviews.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires.
2. Employee Relations
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
- Promote a healthy, respectful, and compliant work environment.
- Manage conflict resolution and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy.
3. HR Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
- Ensure all employment contracts, policies, and procedures are compliant with labor laws.
4. Performance Management
- Support managers in setting goals and conducting performance reviews.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.
- Implement employee recognition and engagement initiatives.
5. Compliance & Policy Development
- Keep updated on changes in labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure workplace health and safety compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven HR experience (X years, depending on role seniority).
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
