Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer with at least 5 years of HR experience in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, HR policies, and best practices, and a proven ability to identify, attract, and retain top talent. This role requires a professional who can effectively manage HR operations, ensure legal compliance, and contribute to building a high-performing workforce.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies.
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures aligned with UAE regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, attendance, leave, and payroll documentation.
- Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions in line with UAE labor regulations.
2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies for sourcing and attracting qualified talent in the UAE market.
- Source candidates through multiple channels: job portals, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and reference checks according to company standards.
- Coordinate onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
3. Employee Engagement & Development
- Support training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Organize employee engagement and retention programs to maintain a motivated workforce.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, UAE labor law, and best practices.
4. Performance & Workforce Management
- Assist in designing and implementing performance appraisal and talent development programs.
- Support workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify and close talent gaps effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience in the UAE, with strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations.
- Proven expertise in talent acquisition, recruitment, and employee retention.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HR software/ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
