Job Description:
Al Bassam International Factories is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Purchase Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience within the UAE and a solid understanding of local and international procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete procurement process from requisition to delivery, both locally and internationally.
- Source and evaluate suppliers; negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure cost-effective purchases.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials in line with project schedules.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse and relevant departments to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and budgetary constraints.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of UAE-based purchasing experience.
- Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of local and international purchasing, including import/export regulations and logistics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software/tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
