The QHSE Manager/Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) systems and policies within the organization. This role ensures compliance with local and international standards, improving health and safety measures, and minimizing the environmental impact of company activities.

- Experience with UAE construction industry(min 5 years).
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Monitor and improve product and service quality to meet customer expectations.
- Investigate and analyze product defects or service failures and develop corrective actions.
- Health & Safety:
- Develop and enforce health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and best practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and risks.
- Organize and lead safety training sessions for employees to ensure awareness and compliance.
- Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, conducting root cause analysis and reporting findings.
- Environmental Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain an Environmental Management System (EMS) in line with ISO 14001.
- Monitor environmental performance and ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
- Lead initiatives to reduce waste, energy consumption, and emissions.
- Advocate for sustainable practices within the organization.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of QHSE activities, inspections, audits, and compliance reports.
- Prepare and present QHSE performance reports to senior management.
- Assist in the preparation of safety, health, and environmental impact reports as required by regulatory agencies.
- Training & Development:
- Ensure that all employees are properly trained in QHSE procedures, including emergency protocols, safe work practices, and environmental awareness.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in QHSE practices across the organization.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in QHSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
- Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in a QHSE role, preferably within a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of QHSE regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and investigations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
