Chartered Quantity Surveyor (Dispute Resolution)

I am seeking a CHARTERED QUANTITY SURVEYOR who is keen to work for a firm doing Expert Witness, Expert Reports, Dispute Resolution, Dispute Avoidance work.

This role will be based in their Dubai office but there will be a need for some international travel as required by the projects.

My client is working on disputes for oil & gas, process, power, civils, M&E and building projects.


My client is a successful firm of expert and dispute resolution consultants. They have offices in the UK and abroad.

My client works on projects that are both in the UK and overseas.

They currently have offices in the UK, in Europe and in the Middle East and are growing further.


You will need to be a Degree or Masters qualified Quantity Surveyor with a few years experience gained working for a firm of PQS or for a large firm of contractors.

You will need to be MRICS qualified or almost chartered with the RICS.

You may also have started or be interested in doing further qualifications in construction law.

Ideally you will have gained around three years or more experience of quantity surveying.

Good practical QS experience is required and if you have seen projects through from inception to completion that would be beneficial.

A stable work record is required.

Any experience of forensic analysis would be useful although not essential.

Any experiene of doing or having involvement with BoQ's would be useful.

You will have good IT and communication skills with fluent English (both written and spoken).

You will have the opportunity to progress your career and to take further specialist construction law qualifications.

Salary is very negotiable plus excellent benefits as my client is interested in people at various levels from almost chartered to MRICS qualified plus several years PQE.
