Job Summary:
The Academic Advisor is responsible for creating, implementing, and continuously improving education plans that align with the school’s mission. This role involves recommending curriculum content and teaching strategies to faculty members to enhance the overall learning experience. The Academic Advisor plays a key role in supporting teachers and students by providing structured academic guidance and ensuring a high standard of educational delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement academic plans that meet student needs and align with school standards.
- Advise and support teachers in curriculum content, instructional strategies, and academic planning.
- Coordinate with faculty to ensure effective and consistent delivery of educational materials.
- Monitor student progress and provide recommendations for academic improvement.
- Stay updated on educational trends and integrate best practices into planning.
- Support the school’s mission of delivering world-class education through academic leadership.
Qualifications:
- Minimum degree in higher education OR
- Graduate-level qualification related to the assigned functional area(s)
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of academic advising experience
- Experience in the education industry is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of curriculum development and student support
