Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts on a regular basis.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
- Support in the preparation of VAT returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Assist in payroll processing and ensure accurate recording of employee-related expenses.
- Maintain an organized filing system for financial documents, both physical and digital.
- Perform routine audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting, providing support in analyzing financial performance.
- Respond to queries from vendors, customers, and internal departments related to accounts and payments.
- Support the senior accounting team in various ad-hoc financial tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience in an accounts or finance role is an advantage but freshers are welcome to apply.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data with discretion.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Preference will be given to candidates holding a Parent or Spouse Visa.
