Accounts Assistant - Finance Department
About the job:
To overview and assist all daily financial activities to be carried out within the given region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling bookkeeping and following accounting best practices
- Fact-checking invoices for payment and processing
- Processing incoming invoices in DUO (DATEV)
- Monitoring vendor statements, wire transfer requests, and other transactions
- Reconciling account balances
- Processing billing adjustments and refunds
- Answering phone calls and e-mails as needed
- Filing, mailing and other admin duties as needed
- Keeping financial records up-to-date
- Processing business transactions
- Following existing VFS finance policies
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Ad hoc report for business
- Judicious use of natural resources
- Shall adhere to environment health and safety policy/ objectives and guidelines of the organization
Qualifications:
Minimum qualification of a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Accounting from a reputed university.
Experience: 0 – 12 months of experience in any industry.
Knowledge & Key Skills:
Basic Knowledge of Computer skills especially Excel.
Proficiency in MS office & good typing speed
Adaptability and presence of mind to handle customer queries and complaints. Excellent communication skills in both reading and speaking English language and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and organized with good time management skills.
