The Admin & HR Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing both the administrative functions and human resources activities of the company. This includes implementing HR strategies, managing recruitment, developing policies, and ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation of administrative services. The role requires a proactive leader with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, capable of managing a team and fostering a positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Management:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Oversee the recruitment process, from job posting and candidate screening to interviews and selection.
- Manage new employee onboarding to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
- Conduct employee orientation sessions and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Foster a positive, productive work environment, addressing employee grievances and mediating any workplace conflicts.
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and team-building activities.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and support career development efforts.
- HR Policies and Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to align with company goals and legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and other HR-related standards.
- Handle disciplinary actions and terminations as necessary, ensuring all actions align with company policies.
Administrative Management:
- Office Operations and Facilities Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and functionality of office facilities and equipment.
- Ensure the office environment remains safe, clean, and well-organized.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for office needs, supplies, and repairs.
- Budgeting and Expense Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets for administrative and HR expenses, including office supplies, employee engagement activities, and training.
- Monitor and control costs while maintaining high-quality standards in operations.
- Administrative Support:
- Ensure efficient coordination of administrative support, including front-desk operations, mail distribution, and general office tasks.
- Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Policy Development and Implementation:
- Develop and implement office policies, procedures, and guidelines to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in an HR and/or administrative management role, preferably in a mid-to-large size organization.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
