About the Job
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager to join our Revenue team in Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Contribute to the formulation and manage the implementation of inventory and pricing plans, based on sound commercial analysis and in line with the revenue management strategy.
- Manage market research efforts related to the property’s competition and guest preferences as well as economic variables affecting supply and demand or price elasticity, to support the development of accurate operational and financial room revenue forecasts.
- Manage the optimization of the property’s product and service offerings (rooms, spa, catering, packages, etc.) and recommend adjustments to product offers and rates to cater for holidays, seasonality, etc. to maximize revenue and profitability throughout the year.
- Monitor and report the property’s key revenue performance metrics (occupancy levels, RevPAR, etc.), to provide visibility on its financial performance and to recommend corrective action when required.
- Manage the analysis of the property financial performance to maximize revenue for the property and contribute to the ongoing growth of RevPAR market share.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of revenue management experience, ideally within an international hospitality company.
- Proven expertise in property-level revenue maximization, demand forecasting, pricing strategies, and profitability optimization.
- Solid understanding of core hotel operations, with strong commercial acumen and awareness of market, consumer, and product development trends.
- Demonstrates strong alignment with values such as Teamwork, Respect, Innovation, People Focus, Integrity, and Continuous Growth.
- Highly analytical and creative, with strong interpersonal skills and a strategic mindset for revenue generation across multiple channels
