We are seeking a qualified and passionate IT Lecturer to join our academic team at our Ras Al Khaimah campus. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Information Technology and demonstrated experience in teaching undergraduate or postgraduate students.
A PhD in IT or a related field is preferred; however, candidates with a Master’s degree and significant teaching or industry experience will also be considered.
Location : Ras Al Khaimah
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lectures and lab sessions in IT-related subjects.
- Prepare course materials, lesson plans, assignments, and exams.
- Guide students in academic and research activities.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in the IT field and integrate them into the curriculum.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous academic improvement.
- Maintain student records, assessments, and grading systems accurately.
- Participate in faculty meetings, academic planning, and institutional events.
- Mentor and support students in both academic and career-related matters.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field (preferred).
- Candidates with a Master’s degree and strong teaching/industry experience may also apply.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of teaching or industry experience in IT.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using modern educational technologies and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
