Job Title: Automotive Service Advisor

Job Summary:
The Automotive Service Advisor acts as the communication link between customers and the workshop. They are responsible for understanding the customer's vehicle issues, coordinating with technicians, preparing repair orders, and ensuring the customer receives clear updates and excellent service throughout the repair process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and understand their service needs through clear communication and effective questioning.
- Create detailed and accurate repair orders and job cards.
- Advise customers on necessary and recommended services or repairs.
- Coordinate with workshop technicians to determine vehicle issues and job status.
- Provide timely updates to customers about service progress, costs, and delivery times.
- Prepare cost estimates and obtain customer approvals before proceeding with work.
- Conduct follow-up calls post-service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and ensure resolution in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle service records.
- Promote additional products or services (e.g., oil change packages, seasonal checks) when appropriate.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Technical knowledge of vehicle systems is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using service management software.
- Customer-first attitude with a focus on satisfaction and quality.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Technical training or certification in automotive services (preferred).
- Valid UAE driving license.
