A Delivery Rider, also known as a delivery driver or courier, is responsible for transporting goods, often food or packages, from one location to another, ensuring timely and safe delivery to customers. This role requires strong time management, navigation skills, and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery and Transportation:Safely transport items (packages, food, etc.) to designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules.
- Navigation:Utilize maps and GPS systems to find optimal routes and ensure timely deliveries.
- Customer Interaction:Provide excellent customer service, which may include verifying orders, collecting payments, and addressing any delivery-related issues.
- Vehicle Maintenance:Perform routine vehicle checks, ensuring the delivery vehicle is in good working condition.
- Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including timestamps, customer information, and any other relevant details.
- Adherence to Regulations:Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communication:Maintain clear communication with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License: Required for operating the delivery vehicle (bike, scooter, or car).
- Navigation Skills: Ability to read maps and use GPS navigation systems.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
