About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in Abu Dhabi’s offshore Oil & Gas sector. This role is designed for candidates already based in the UAE who can represent Danem to EPC contractors, offshore operators, and engineering consultancies, while promoting both our world-class UAE fabrication facilities and our engineering services.

- Engineering services – front-end engineering, detailed design, modularization, and constructability studies.
- Fabrication services – topsides, monopiles, transition pieces, pressure vessels, skids, and modular process units.
- Refurbishment & upgrade works – offshore structures, process modules, pressure vessels, and structural steel repairs/modifications.
With world-class UAE-based facilities and a skilled engineering team, we support clients from early concept and design through fabrication, refurbishment, and delivery, ensuring technical excellence and cost competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, offshore operators, and engineering firms.
- Identify, qualify, and secure engineering, fabrication, and refurbishment projects for offshore infrastructure and modular packages.
- Position Danem as an integrated solutions provider for new-build and refurbishment works.
- Lead prequalification, tendering, and contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Work with internal engineering, production, and proposals teams to deliver competitive technical and commercial bids.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, technical conferences, and networking events in the UAE and internationally.
- Provide market intelligence on trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven business development/sales experience in offshore Oil & Gas engineering, fabrication, or refurbishment projects.
- Strong network with tier-1 EPC contractors, offshore developers, and engineering consultants in the UAE market.
- Solid technical understanding of engineering, fabrication, refurbishment scopes, and supply chain requirements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate; flexibility to travel as needed.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
