Job Summary
The Project Manager / Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities in the UAE market, with a focus on road and infrastructure works. The role requires strong engagement with authorities and stakeholders to facilitate approvals and compliance, while also overseeing the execution, supervision, and operations of ongoing projects to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the UAE construction market, with a focus on roads and infrastructure.
- Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and developers to facilitate approvals, permits, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and oversee project execution from initiation to handover, ensuring quality, cost control, and timely delivery.
- Supervise project teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to technical and contractual requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, consultants, and industry partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, tendering, contracts, and operations) to align project and business strategies.
- Prepare and submit reports to senior leadership on project progress, business pipeline, and market intelligence.
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and networking forums.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
Role Criteria
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
Experience Required:
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in road and infrastructure works, with proven expertise in both project management and business development.
Additional Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure project lifecycle and contract management.
- Experience in tendering, procurement, and client negotiations.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
