Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in fuel systems, tanker fabrication, and industrial fabrication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving sales growth within the fabrication sector. This position requires industry-specific knowledge, technical understanding, and strong networking abilities in the UAE and GCC markets.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in fuel tank fabrication, mobile tanker systems, and industrial steel fabrication projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and key decision-makers.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer needs assessments to drive strategic growth.
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and contract offers.
- Lead negotiations and close deals while ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure client requirements are met.
- Follow up on sales inquiries, leads, and tenders in both private and government sectors.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote company capabilities.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in business development or sales within the fuel systems, tanker fabrication, or industrial fabrication sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of fuel storage tanks, skid-mounted units, steel structures, and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and fabrication specs.
- Existing network of clients and contacts in oil & gas, logistics, EPC, or construction sectors is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with pricing, and contract negotiation in the UAE/GCC market.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and basic familiarity with AutoCAD or fabrication tools.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive under pressure.
