Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in parking management contracts (malls, airports, municipalities, hospitals, business districts, residential complexes).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, developers, facility owners, and property managers.
- Prepare and submit RFPs, bids, and tender proposals in coordination with estimation and operations teams.
- Negotiate and finalize service contracts, ensuring commercial viability and compliance with client requirements.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve agreed revenue and contract acquisition targets.
Market Strategy & Growth
- Conduct market studies to identify emerging trends in urban mobility, smart parking solutions, and cashless/automated systems.
- Develop strategies to expand into new geographic markets and industry segments.
- Forge partnerships with technology providers, equipment suppliers, and mobility service companies to enhance service offerings.
- Position the company as a leader in comprehensive parking management solutions.
Marketing & Business Promotion
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and government forums.
- Work with marketing teams to develop campaigns highlighting parking management expertise.
- Promote value-added services such as EV charging, mobile app integrations, dynamic pricing, and traffic flow management.
Operational & Cross-functional Alignment
- Collaborate with operations teams to assess feasibility, staffing, and resource requirements for new contracts.
- Ensure smooth handover of contracts from business development to operations for service execution.
- Provide continuous client support during mobilization and operational phases to ensure satisfaction and renewal.
- Monitor competitor offerings and adjust service packages to maintain competitive advantage.
Reporting & Leadership
- Report on sales performance, pipeline, forecasts, and business intelligence.
- Track and analyze KPIs for contract performance, client satisfaction, and service profitability.
- Mentor junior BD staff and support organizational capacity building.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field (MBA is an advantage).
- 7–10 years of proven experience in business development within parking management, facilities management, or urban mobility services.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and service contract knowledge.
- Strategic thinker with ability to design service solutions for client needs.
- Knowledge of parking KPIs: occupancy rates, revenue per space, turnaround time, enforcement efficiency, customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and proposal management tools.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Strong understanding of parking technologies (ANPR, mobile apps, ticketing, automated payment, enforcement).
- Network with municipalities, developers, property managers, and transport authorities in the GCC or regional market.
- Experience in tendering, PPP contracts, and long-term service agreements.
