We are currently hiring a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer with experience in aluminium and facade systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D/3D design drawings for facade components including curtain walls, cladding, windows, and structural glazing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed CAD drawings for facade and aluminium systems in compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with the design and engineering teams to ensure accurate technical outputs.
- Translate architectural and structural drawings into production-ready shop drawings.
- Create fabrication, installation, and as-built drawings for facade systems.
- Update and revise drawings based on project changes or client feedback.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, material specifications, and local codes.
- Maintain an organized library of drawing files and documentation.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience in CAD design for aluminium/facade systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D preferred); experience with Revit, SolidWorks, or similar tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of curtain wall systems, cladding, aluminium profiles, and structural glass assemblies.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent drafting accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
