We are constantly growing and are currently seeking Two (2) Chief Estimators to join our highly qualified and knowledgeable Estimation Team at our Dubai office.

What you will need to do:
- Leading and Managing Estimation Teams - This includes overseeing a team of estimators, providing guidance, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all cost estimates.
- Developing and Implementing Estimation Processes - Establishing and refining standardized estimation methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Analysing Project Documents - Thoroughly reviewing project plans, specifications, and other relevant documentation to identify scope, requirements, and potential risks.
- Developing Detailed Cost Estimates - Creating comprehensive cost estimates for all aspects of the EPC project, including materials, labour, equipment, subcontractors, and indirect costs.
- Conducting Risk Assessments - Identifying potential cost overruns, delays, and other risks, and developing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborating with Stakeholders - Working closely with project managers, engineers, procurement specialists, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure alignment on cost estimates.
- Presenting Estimates and Proposals- Preparing and presenting detailed cost estimates and proposals to senior management and clients, effectively communicating the rationale behind the estimates.
- Mentoring and Training - Providing guidance and mentorship to junior estimators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and best practices.
- Staying Updated on Industry Trends - Keeping abreast of the latest cost estimation techniques, software, and industry best practices.
- Negotiating and Managing Subcontracts - Reviewing and negotiating subcontractor proposals and managing subcontract agreements.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 or more years estimating experience on Heavy Civil EPC Projects..
- The option to work from Egypt or join an overseas project.
- Proven experience working on at least two completed projects of similar scope and complexity. (International project experience is highly recommended)
- Strong understanding in:
- Lead Estimating Operations,
- Tender Preparation and Coordination
- Risk and Cost Analysis
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Bid Strategy and Value Engineering
- Estimate Validation and Presentation
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills are essential. The ability to communicate effectively with US Government personnel is crucial.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working on US Government projects is highly preferred. This includes familiarity with the USACE (US Army Corps of Engineers) standards, OBO, and other relevant regulations.
You are someone who:
- Education- A bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil or Mechanical).
- Experience - Extensive experience (10+ years) in cost estimation, with a strong focus on large-scale Oil & Gas EPC projects.
- Technical Skills - Proven expertise in EPC cost estimating methodologies, including quantity take-offs, pricing, and risk analysis.
- Industry Knowledge - Deep understanding of Oil & Gas industry standards, regulations, and practices, including upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
- Software Proficiency - Experience with industry-standard cost estimating software
- Leadership and Communication Skills - Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams and effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve cost-related issues.
