Job Description
- Strong knowledge of data trends across IT and digital and how they can be applied to companies to address real world problems and opportunities
- Experience working on data strategy consulting engagements – formulating data strategy for an enterprise
- Experience working on data governance assessment and strategy, data quality assessment and strategy, master data management assessment and strategy and metadata management assessment and strategy
- Experience working on any of the data disciplines: DWH strategy definition, data lake planning and strategy, BI Assessment, BI tool comparison and assessment
- Experience working on business analysis and requirements gathering for data integration, data migration and business intelligence projects
- Should be able to analyse data and convert business requirements into functional/technical specs
- Ability to understand data and derive key performance indicators (KPI’s)
- Good SQL experience for data analysis and reporting
- Exposure to business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlik Sense and Power BI
- Good understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure or GCP
- Good understanding of data science and machine learning concepts
- Own overall coordination with business and delivery stakeholders from a functional perspective
- Experience in presales activities – responding to RFP’s and RFI’s and ability to formulate a solution
- Possess strong written and verbal communication
Ideal candidate should have
- 3 plus years’ experience in data management consulting
- At least 1 end to end consulting engagement experience
- Good understanding of water fall and agile methodologies
- Ability to communicate with client stakeholders at senior levels
- MBA from a tier 1 and tier 2 college preferred
