Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to lead our financial operations, including budgeting, payments, and P&L management. The role requires strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and experience in the shipping or logistics sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily finance and accounting operations.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
- Monitor and analyze P&L, cash flow, and balance sheets.
- Ensure timely payments, invoicing, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and compliance.
- Manage audits, tax filings, and financial reporting in line with UAE regulations.
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior management for decision-making.
- Lead and mentor the finance team for efficient performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA, CPA, or ACCA preferred).
- Minimum 7–10 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in shipping, logistics, or trading companies.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and corporate tax compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Leadership ability to manage a small to mid-sized finance team.
