We are looking for a skilled Finishing Carpenter with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in high-quality interior and exterior finishing works. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently from drawings and specifications, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform finishing carpentry tasks such as:
- Installation of doors, door frames, windows, skirting, and architraves
- Fitting modular furniture, cabinetry, wardrobes, and shelves
- Ceiling and partition framework and paneling (wood/gypsum)
- Sanding, staining, and polishing wood surfaces
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials using various carpentry tools and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure work meets project deadlines and high standards of quality and safety
- Collaborate with other trades (e.g., electricians, painters) on-site to ensure proper finishing
- Identify and correct any surface defects or misalignments
- Maintain tools and work area in good condition
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience as a finishing carpenter
- Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and techniques used in finishing carpentry
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
