Massimo’s Italian Restaurant – Abu Dhabi Branch
- Branch Kitchen Management:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations at the Abu Dhabi branch, ensuring efficiency and consistency in food preparation and service.
- Act as the senior kitchen authority on-site in coordination with the Executive Chef/Head Office team.
- Team Supervision & Training:
- Lead, supervise, and train a team of commis chefs.
- Ensure proper task delegation, skills development, and motivation within the kitchen team.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to Massimo’s standards of authenticity, taste, and presentation.
- Perform regular quality checks during prep and service times.
- Operational Coordination:
- Coordinate with front-of-house team to maintain smooth service, especially during peak hours.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, delivery staff, and head office as required.
- Inventory & Ordering:
- Monitor kitchen stock levels and place orders in line with budget and consumption forecasts.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all ingredients and products.
- Compliance & Hygiene:
- Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices according to UAE regulations.
- Ensure the kitchen consistently passes inspections and adheres to company SOPs.
- Menu Execution & Specials:
- Execute the menu as designed by the Head Chef, including daily specials.
- Provide feedback on local customer preferences and suggest adjustments if needed.
- Cost & Waste Control:
- Control portioning, reduce waste, and manage prep to meet cost targets.
- Keep accurate records of wastage and report any variances.
- Customer Focus:
- Handle customer feedback related to food and kitchen performance in coordination with restaurant management.
- Ensure customer satisfaction is a key driver in kitchen operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
