- Measure distances, directions, and angles to determine, locate and define boundaries.
- Performing fieldwork to collect data on land sites and properties.
- Examining previous records, maps, and data to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to provide accurate site data.
- Writing reports and sharing crucial information with colleagues and clients.
- Monitoring changes in the land during the construction process.
- Producing maps using GPS, surveying instruments, digital images and satellite photographs.
