Job description
Responsibilities:
- Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement detailed lift plans, including assessing load weights, selecting appropriate equipment, and coordinating with other site activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Team Supervision and Training: Lead and supervise a team of riggers, crane operators, and other personnel, providing training and guidance on lifting procedures and safety protocols.
- Safety Compliance and Risk Assessment: Conduct pre-lift risk assessments, implement control measures to prevent accidents, and ensure all lifting operations comply with health and safety regulations.
- Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Monitor the condition and maintenance of lifting equipment, ensuring all machinery is fit for use and properly inspected and serviced according to schedules.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of lifting operations, including inspection records, permits, and licenses, and provide regular reports to project managers on the status of lifting operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Lifting Supervisor in a construction or similar industry
- Must be capable of reviewing and revising lift plans
- Candidate must be in UAE and can join immediately
