The MEP Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of construction projects. This role ensures that MEP systems are designed, installed, tested, and commissioned in compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards while meeting cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire MEP scope of works from design to execution and handover.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Review and approve MEP design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
- Develop project schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, local authority requirements, and international codes.
- Manage budgets, cost control, and resource allocation for MEP works.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality of workmanship and adherence to specifications.
- Lead project meetings and prepare progress reports for clients and senior management.
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during construction.
- Supervise testing, commissioning, and final handover of MEP systems.
