Job Overview:
The Operations Representative is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and supporting daily operational activities related to marine services such as sending quotations, coordinating with technical team, and keeping track of inquiries. The role ensures smooth timely communication with clients and partners, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of project quotations, timelines, and operational budgets.
- Coordinate and monitor marine service operations, including vessel berthing, maintenance support, inspection schedules, and port service arrangements.
- Serve as the primary contact between clients.
- Prepare work orders, job instructions, and service reports for all assigned marine projects.
- Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
- Monitor and manage the movement of vessels and crew logistics.
- Follow up on spare parts, tools, and equipment deliveries to meet service schedules.
- Maintain records of operations, inspections, and service history.
- Assist in resolving operational issues and customer complaints professionally and promptly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in marine operations or port services (preferably in a similar role).
- Strong understanding of marine and port operations, vessel logistics, and maritime safety practices.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite; knowledge of marine software systems is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be available on call as needed.
