Operations Head – Freight Forwarding

About Us:
We are a newly launched freight forwarding company in Dubai with bold ambitions. We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Operations Head who can build the freight business from the ground up and run it like their own.

What You’ll Do:
- Oversee and manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations (Ocean & Air)
- Build and manage relationships with shipping lines, airlines, trucking vendors, and CHAs
- Handle documentation processes: MBL, HBL, DO, Surrender, manifest, invoices
- Ensure smooth coordination with customers and vendors
- Implement SOPs for efficient and scalable operations
- Work with finance for billing, cost tracking, and compliance
- Build and lead a small team (ops, docs, customer service)
- Be the go-to person for everything operational — owning delivery and customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For:
- 6–10 years of experience in freight forwarding (air + ocean)
- Strong hands-on experience in Dubai, GCC, and India–Middle East trade lanes
- Good vendor network (shipping lines, CHAs, trucking)
- Knowledge of DUBAI CUSTOMS, BL processes, Incoterms
- Startup mindset: resourceful, reliable, and ready to lead
- Strong communication & problem-solving skills
